Over a week she would think that maybe she would just pass out from exhaustion, but no. Stupid Mister Sandman must have forgotten to come by her dorm room yet again to sprinkle his magic ‘sand’ over her. If she ever found that little fucker, she would cut off his head from his shoulders and take all of his sand just so she could sleep for days on end. Now, usually there is something that triggers the lack of sleep. For Jaclyn, it was the fact that Teddy Winborne had been ignoring her for a rather long time. See, Jaclyn had fallen for this boy rather hard and fast. This was a rather big deal for some of Jaclyn’s friends - seeing as she was known as the girl who wouldn’t touch a man with a fifty foot pole. However, when it came to Teddy, she just couldn’t help herself; she was completely hooked on him - like a drug, if you will. Teddy wasn’t the only drug to come into her life. Every time that needle hit and dug itself into her soft skin, she felt ashamed of herself; like a coward. But the high was just so good that she just couldn’t stop herself. The fact that it solved most of her problems was the best seller for her, seeing as her past was rather rocky and harsh. She wasn’t exactly the type of girl that many boys would want to get involved with; but Teddy did. Finally giving up on sleep, she sat up in bed and ran a hand through her long, fiery red hair. Her legs exited the blankets and she immediately felt the cold air upon them; it didn’t take long for goose bumps to form on her legs. Well what did you expect when you were sleeping in nothing but a tank top and pair of your undies?
It had been a while since her and Teddy had spoken at all. He hadn’t been answering her calls and he also hadn’t been answering the door to his dorm. This worried Jaclyn, what had she done to make him mad at her - if he was mad at all. Jaclyn stood up to her full height of five feet and nine inches before she walked towards the bathroom and turned on the light. At first, she closed her eyes, knowing that they weren’t ready to be adjusted to the light. However, when she opened them, she found it easier to see rather than just walking in with her eyes wide open. Jaclyn looked into the mirror and groaned, seeing the fact that she had no make up on and her hair was a mess. She hated it when she looked ‘natural’, I guess. He felt like she always needed some sort of make up on to make herself look beautiful. No girl that she had been with had ever seen her without make up, partially because she would wear it to bed if she was going to sleep with the person. Turning away form the mirror, Jaclyn walked out of the bathroom and back into her dorm. No one was in it except her; all of her friends had boyfriends or love interests so they just spent the nights at their dorms. Walking over to the dresser, she opened the drawers to pull out a pair of jeans and a sweat shirt. Slipping into them, she put her hands into her pockets and walked out of her dorm, locking it behind her.
Walks always cleared Jaclyn’s head, no matter how messed up her life was. All she needed was to go for a walk and close her eyes. She loved nature, she loved the way that it had stayed the same and had adapted to the times and eras of the world. As she reached the courtyard, she looked up at the sky and smiled, letting the cold air touch her pale face. She loved the fact that she could be alone for a little while and not be disturbed. Her eyes stayed closed as she kept walking through the courtyard, hoping that she wouldn’t run into anyone she knew. However, when she opened her olive eyes, she spotted someone sitting on a bench with an acoustic guitar in their hands. Taking a few steps closer, she realized who it was and an anger flew up inside of her. She started walking faster towards the boy who had been ignoring her for the past week. As she walked up to him, she got her hand read and right as she walked past him, her hand met the back of his head and she stopped. Looking at Teddy, she growled, ”Where the fuck have you been? And why haven’t you been talking to me!?” she asked, still looking at him with rage. She didn’t expect him to reply with a confused tone or if it was confused, it would probably be more of an angry confused tone. She kept glaring at him, ”Did I do something to upset you, Teddy? Please, tell me if I did!” she exclaimed as she awaited his reply.

j a c l y n a l e x a n d e r ♥ ___________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________So many thoughts, That I can't get out of my head. I try to live without you, Everytime I do I feel dead. I know what's best for me, But I want you instead. I'll just keep wasting all my time. --- A human, that was all she was, just a plain human with human blood that made plenty of mistakes. She was just like every single other person on this planet, nothing special about her at all. She saw the world in the exact same way as everyone else did and it wasn’t fair. Jaclyn wanted to be different, she wanted to see the world differently, but she didn’t; she was just Jaclyn. This was why she wrote music, to let her feeling go and reveal to the world just how she was feeling. If she was lonely, she wrote a song that told that story, if she was angry or upset, that song reflected her feelings. She had written countless love songs about one person, Teddy Winborne. He was the one that she wanted, he was the one she longed for and he knew that. She had told him a couple of nights ago that she wanted to be with him and that she cared about him in the way that a girlfriend would for her boyfriend. After that, what happened? Teddy started avoiding her like the plague, even when he said the feeling was mutual. So, all in all, Jaclyn was confused and angry; angry at the fact that Teddy wasn’t man enough to just come out and tell her that he had lied and that he didn’t feel the same way about her. She would be able to be rejected by him, she had been rejected plenty of times in her life, what made Teddy any different? She was absolutely and madly in love with this boy, that was why. If he rejected her, she would probably put on a tough exterior and just walk away, but then go break down and cry in her dorm and let Lilia comfort her.
Lilia Harvord, what a great girl. She helped Jaclyn through everything and wasn’t afraid to make other plans to help her friend out. She remembered when the poor girl was on a date with Landon and Jaclyn had phoned, high off her ass, telling Lilia that she had over dosed and needed to be taken to the hospital. Surely enough, Lilia was there in an instant, finding her friend, passed out on the floor, fading away with every second. Oddly enough, that was when Teddy and Jaclyn had met. Lilia was unable to take Jaclyn to the hospital, seeing as Jaclyn was taller and weighed more than Lilia. So, dialing a number, Teddy picked up at the other end and helped take Jaclyn to the hospital. After that whole experience, and after Jaclyn had come home, Lilia introduced her to her ‘rescuer’. The two exchanged ‘hellos’ and ‘thank yous’ and the instant that Teddy had said, ‘It was no big deal’, she was hooked. She didn’t usually like men, she actually hated them, but Teddy seemed different. Ever since that day, he had been all she was thinking about and Jaclyn just couldn’t get him out of her head. It was kind of sad, really, how much she wanted to be with Teddy. Lilia had always edged her onto telling him and she never went for it, knowing that she would rather having him as a friend than nothing at all. However, she had eventually given in and told him and now look where it landed her, outside in the courtyard, yelling at him for avoiding her. She couldn’t believe that she was wasting her time on him anyways, was he really that worth it? Of course he was. Just seeing him smile was good enough to get her hooked on him.
Not many people know about Jaclyn’s rough past; the way that she was treated when she was younger. If anyone asked about her childhood, she just said that she didn’t have one and didn’t comment to any other questions that were thrown at her. The truth was, that Jaclyn’s past was worse than that of someone who didn’t have one. Before Jaclyn was born, her mother and father were pretty happy, but then something happened and Jaclyn’s father decided to up and leave her poor mother alone. After Jaclyn biological father had left her, Joanna - Jaclyn’s mother - knew she couldn’t raise the baby all by herself, so she set out in search of a respectable husband. She thought she had found one in the eyes of Cody Baker; she was more than wrong. Cody seemed to be a great guy at the start of Jaclyn’s life, taking her to parks, giving her toys. But then, as Jaclyn started to grow into her grade school years, Cody started getting violent. You see, Cody had a drinking problem and when he drank, he became violent and mean. He would become so violent, that he would beat on Joanna almost every night that he was drunk. When Jaclyn turned seven, that was the first time that Cody had ever hit her. He would beat the poor girl until she could barely stand, she would try to fight back but, let’s face it, a little seven year old girl up against a full grown man? The battle was already won. So, Jaclyn took the beatings, until the day Cody took it too far. It was a week after Jaclyn’s ninth birthday; Cody was just as drunk as usual. He had already beaten Joanna and had thrown her into their bedroom. He started moving onto Jaclyn and Joanna had threatened Cody that if her touched her, she would leave him. Well, Cody did a whole lot more than just touch Jaclyn; the poor girl lost her virginity at the age of nine to man who was supposed to be her guardian. Now do you see why she hated men?
Jaclyn kept looking at Teddy with fury in her eyes, she wanted to know what was really on his mind. He had avoided her and Jaclyn hated people who avoided her; it meant that they were cowards and Jaclyn was never one to like a coward. So, she was about to go on with her little rant when something strange happened. Now, Jaclyn had always believed in Vampires and Werewolves, she found the idea of them exceedingly interesting; but she only believed that they only lives in Romania or Europe. But, here she was, watching the man that she was in love with, turning into a beast that was only said to be in story books and fantasy tales. The hair on his back became longer, his teeth grew into fangs, his snout grew longer and dog-like and he grew larger in general. Jaclyn went wide-eyed, her heart beat starting to grow rapidly as she looked at him. He started moving and Jaclyn took a step back, gulping softly. When he spoke, she felt somewhat relieved, knowing that he still had a human mind and wasn’t about to attack her at any second. However, this didn’t mean that his still wasn’t going to lose control any second and chew her face off. She started breathing heavily and could suddenly feel lack of air coming into her lungs. She kept breathing heavily and started pointing at Teddy, ”Y-you’re a were-were...” that was when the poor girl fell over, fainting from the shock of what she had just witnessed. Well, what would you do if you just found out that the guy that you liked was a werewolf? Fainting seemed more than appropriate, in this case.
