* christa gennifer von ness ! come on babe why don't we paint the town and all that jazz i'm gonna rouge my knees and roll my stockings down and all that jazz start the car i know a whoopee spot where the gin is cold but the piano's hot it's just a noisy hall where there's a nightly brawl and all that jazz . * Christa, gasping and stumbling over her feet, ran blindly forward to nowhere, to anywhere. She couldn't get away fast enough. Her screams that didn't seem like hers still echoed in her ears, haunting her thoughts. Even though her tears came thick and fast, clogging up her vision, the scene replayed itself vividly in her mind. First came the heavy wooden door, opening up. Now she wished she had just stayed in bed. It wasn't worth knowing. Oh why did she go all paranoid? Christa truly didn't know whether it might have been better off being clueless. After all, both of them said they were drunk and did not mean to do what they did. Why couldn't she just trust them. Because they gave no reason for her to, and it just hurt so fucking bad. After the door came the familiar face she loved so much it hurt. Even know, when she should be hating him, she couldn't. Then she saw him letting her in. There was something wrong in his face, she should have seen it. Now that she knew that it was guilt, she was angry for herself for being too distracted to notice. And then that corner of fabric, exactly what Kat had bought on their shopping trip before. The crushing truth pressed down on her, and her knees gave out, crashing against the wall. Her body crumpled, having no will to stand up or do anything. If she could melt away into nothing, she would. She wanted to be that dust speck floating in the air, visible only while struck by a ray of light. As it reached her mouth, her ragged breathing blew it away with a sudden breath, and it floated away. * Groaning again, she rolled over. Christa wanted to scream, but bit her tongue in respect for the early hours. She saw all over again the pained facial expression of Darren's and the path her eyes took as she let her gaze fall all around the room, finally resting on the only hiding place big enough to hide a human being. Well, not technically a human being. She remembered her quiet gasp, and the feeling of her heart going ninety nine thousand miles an second. The grueling decision on whether to stand her ground, daring Darren to open it or to fling it open herself killed her. A glance to his face told her all she needed to know. Baring her teeth, a rage came over her. His unwillingness to deny what she was thinking, what they both knew she was thinking, said all she needed to know. A snarl was ripping at her throat, eager to escape into sounds, but it got smashed in with all the other things she wanted to say. Crossing the move in an immortal bound, she flung open the door, eager to give a good pounding to whoever was hiding in there. She'd had about fifty words that should never touch a lady's lips ready to fire at the girl, but they all disappeared into shock at the sight of who she found inside. Katarina Black. * Why did it hurt even more? Was it because they were almost best friends? Was it because Christa had learned to trust this girl so much, despite the fact that Kat was a werewolf? Was it because long ago, in an old conversation, Darren had promised that the relationship between the two was basically gone? Was it because her trust in this werewolf helped her convince that the stories about them were true? That they were just backstabbing dogs who shouldn't be allowed to live? Chaos raged in her mind while her face remained a blank. This is where the memory shut itself off. The rest, as far as she could remember, was just full of screaming, too many tears, and feeble attempts to hit someone, or something. The fact that she was now in a dorm hallway, half sobbing, half hyperventilating. She glanced up, searching for a sign of where she was. Her eyes caught a number on a similar wooden door. Memories threatened to flood back, but Christa forced them away, intent on not thinking too much about it. How long could she hold up against this flood of thoughts, she didn't know, but hopefully she could put it off until she got somewhere less public. One hundred and thirty five. That number was vaguely familiar. It finally dawned on her after a minute or so that this was Jesslynn's dorm, her little sister's. In half a second, she was on her feet, pounding away at the door, almost frantic enough to break it down. Hopefully Jess would open up before Christa could destroy a perfectly good door. j e s s i e - l y n n v o n n e s s ♥ ________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________Shards of me, Too sharp to put back together. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. If I try to touch her, And I bleed. --- » » Being in love was something that people didn't expect to happen in highschool. It was something that older and more mature people knew about and were able to feel. People under the age of eighteen were unable to feel an understand the way the love made people act and feel. This was something that drove Jessie-Lynn Von Ness up the fucking wall. She hated the fact that people thought that other people couldn't be in love if they were in highschool. Jesslynn knew she was in love, she was absolutely sure of it. She had never met anyone like Damien and she knew that he was going to be the one who would hold her heart. Running a hand through her new, light blonde hair, Jesslynn's light green eyes scanned the computer screen as she tried to write an essay on nothing that she exactly cared about. The fact that Louie Real was hung didn't exactly phase her in the least. I mean really, this was so long ago, why do we care if this man didn't plead insanity to save his own sorry ass? Then again, a real coward would do that, I guess this guy wasn't a coward; like most of the population. Most people who were in history text books were not cowards, they took things like men. They didn't take the easy way out...unless they were politicians. Those people really just pissed the hell out of Jesslynn. The people who leeched off nations just so they could gain power and call themselves 'leader of the world'. Take George Bush for Instance. Jesslynn would assasinate him if she didn't have to die after it. Besides, he's going to be off office soon and either an old guy or a black guy is going to take over, so it's all good.
» » Jesslynn finally finished the stupid essay and counted the words, the perfect amount. She knew she could do it if she actually put her mind to it. Now, all she had to do was hand it in tomorrow and she would be free as a bird. Saving the document and then closing the window, she opened another document that had some tabs on it. Jesslynn looked over them once more before putting the lap top down and going into her closet. Opening the closet, she saw her guitar case and smiled. Pulling it out, she opened the case and took out her acoustic. Sitting on the bed, she looked at the tabs and started strumming them. She had wrote these tabs as well as the lyrics that had gone along with them. If you were someone who knew Jesslynn, you would probably be shocked to see her doing this. You see, Jesslynn didn't let just anyone into her little secret circle. Honestly, there were only five people in that circle at the moment; Devon, Dougie, Darren, Damien and mister Jude. Only they knew that she could sing, only they knew that she could play insterments. It was kind of sad that she had kept it from her own sister for all of these years. Christa had absolutely no idea that jesslynn could carry a note and she was glad that she didn't. She knew Christa, she would go off and brag to everyone how wonderful her younger sister was. And honestly, Jesslynn had no idea why she was so scared to show it off to the world. It wasn't like she thought she was bad or anything, she knew she had a talent and she knew that she wouldn't be judged by it. So why was she so scared?
» » As she kept strumming, the words slowly poured out of her mouth and filled the room. She got lost in the music and started drifting into a trance, thinking about everything that was going on in her life. She had to worry about telling Damien about the fact that she was half-breed as well as the fact that she was going to sprout her wings. She knew that she was going to endure an immense amount of pain and have to take a long time just cleaning off the blood that was going to stain the wings. Closing her eyes, she got lost, not thinking about anything that was around her, nothing. She always got lost in the moment, singing and playing, just falling into that deep trance. It was a place that she went to often and she knew she was safe there. No one was there to judge her or make fun of her or ridicule her. She was safe and free of all wrong in the world; no world hunger, no poverty, no racism, sexism or war. Just peace. love and liberty; everything was good in the world was in that place that was inside of her mind when she played.
» » However, that place was overrun by a loud banging that was coming from the door. Jesslynn's eyes shot open in shock as she realized that, if the door was unlocked, someone could see her like this. Frantically standing up, she called out, "Just one second!" It didn't take long for Jesslynn to put her guitar away and close the document that held her tabs and lyrics. As the pounding continued, she started getting slightly angry, "For fuck sakes could you wait for ten seconds!" she shouted before running to the door and swinging it open. However, the anger stopped when she saw the face ofh er older sister, covered in tears and pain. Jesslynn went wide eyed and immediately wrapped her arms around her older sister. Even though Christa was older, Jesslynn still had good three inches on her. Holding her sister close, she rested her cheek on the top of her head, "What happened?" she asked. She had never seen Christa so upset in her whole entire life and it scared her, it really did. Pulling away for a moment, she walked Christa inside and closed the door before wrapping her arms around her again. She knew that it would help Christa calm down, seeing as hugs usually did that.

* The sound of her half sister's very annoyed voice floated under the door crack. Christa would have laughed on any other day, but this was no time to be laughing. She felt like her laughs dried up and her throat shouldn't be allowed to work. Only things that came out of it were sobs now. Still, her face twisted up in an amused grimace, which was quite a strange looking thing since she couldn't eliminate the hurt that was etched on. Jesslynn was always good for three things. Being straightforward was undoubtedly one of them. She always told it like it was. This wasn't to say that she was frank almost to the point of rudeness. She just wasn't one of those kiss ass suck ups you see so much of. Christa was somewhat the same way but had more tendencies to be a people pleaser in her. Having a good time was the second thing. Christa knew she could call her up for almost anything and Jess would come, no matter how wild, if she had the time for it. Both von Ness girls loved a good time. Parties, shopping trips, lunches. And then knew, most definitely, how to have one. Along with their mutual girl friends, Audrey, Kat, Harper, Meri, Alyx, and Vicky, they often planned lavish parties. Admittedly, they didn't happen half the time, but it was still fun to pretend that they were. The old sleepover group was amazingly close and they had more good times then they could hold under their belt. And lastly, Jesslynn was Christa's sister after all. They had the same blood, under their father's side at least. And they were what sisters were. Sometimes annoyed, sometimes immensely frustrated, but always there for each other. And it was now that Christa needed her more than ever. There really wasn't too many others she could turn to. Her mom was who knows where, traveling in Europe at the moment. Her father ... well let's just say she wasn't on trusting terms with him. So here was the first person she could think of turning to. Plus, she had luckily landed outside her door. If she'd ended up in front of Audrey's or something, she probably would have burst in there too, but this was better. * She watched silently as Jess's face switched from anger to confusion and comfort in under a second. Sometimes the fact that Jess was taller than her bugged her. She was older. Why did she have to be so short? It didn't make sense. Their father was tall. Christa's mother was average, a little above actually. So what was she so darn miniscule? Okay, maybe she should rephrase that. She actually wasn't that short. All her friends were just all so freaking tall! Jess, Kat, Harper. Audrey was around the same height. All four boys towered above her petite five foot six. Thinking about Darren just drove yet another nail into her heart. Leaning into Jess's shoulder gratefully, she started up her crying again. Silent this time, instead of the wracking sobs. Her throat was hoarse now anyways, what mixed with the screaming she briefly did before fleeing dorm one hundred and twenty two. She recalled the burning feeling that crept starting from her chest. It filled her lungs with something that felt with fire, so it was ironic when water leaked from her eyes. Her tongue tasted of bile and her hands and legs felt numb. Quick flashbacks fluttered in front of her vision. She had a feeling they would for quite a long time. The shape of his lips in his guilty winces. The scared light in Kat's eyes when Christa flung open the closet. The silver of the heels that now were clutched in her hands when she took them off so she could escape faster. It hurt a little when she realized that he wasn't chasing after her to try and explain further. It would have been a lost cause, maybe he knew that. But that small hurt was overwashed by the feeling of relief at the fact that no one had tried to tell her what to think or what to do. Being alone was probably the best thing as the time as she let the raw emotions wash over her. Now, though, it was time to spill and confide. * Her tongue became tongue tied when she tried to answer. Pulling away a little she sniffed loudly and tried to wipe away all the tears. Why wouldn't they fucking stop? She had never cried as much in her entire life. Nothing this hurtful had ever happened to her. She wasn't a too emotional chick anyways. She hated drama and overplaying things. She loved watching theater and dramatic scenes, but hated it in real life, and hated exaggeration. So why couldn't she just stop this embarassing display of blubbering! She hated being this vulnerable. " I ..." she started when her voice had calmed down enough to choke sound out, " went to Darren's dorm." Her voice sounded detached, alien. It sounded disorientated and confused. But she wasn't. She knew exactly what happened. So why was she so unsure? " Kat was there." She sounded strangely blank. Her tone was irrationaly even. But this was important. She should care about this fact. What was happening to her? Too many questions about her feelings. She didn't want to think about it too much. It was things like these that she tried to avoid. Cheating, scandals, two timers. These were things that belonged in others' lives. She didn't like these things. They were annoying. She looked down on girls that didn't see things like this as they happened under their noses. Now she was one of them. But she never saw it coming. Worrying about something like this never occurred to her. Is this what all those other girls felt like? Had she been wrong? Whatever the answer, she was never going to be skeptical about girls like that. She was one of them. And if someone came up to her and started saying things like how she should have seen it coming, they were going to be marked for death with her bare hands. Christa wondered how she should continue. Things were kind of out there now. She didn't really need to tell Jess more. Pausing, she looked up at her and half shrugged, no motivation for anything left in her. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. If I try to touch her, And I bleed. --- » » Jesslynn’s past had been a rough one, seeing as she had to deal with death, negligence and negativity. Believe it or not, Jesslynn actually went to a different school when she was in freshman year. It was a school somewhat like Collingwood, except you went home and lived at home. Anyways. Jesslynn was picked on a whole lot more at this school, being called a half-breed scum and a ‘freak of nature’. For years, she had held her head high and made sure that nothing brought her down. Well, at least she put that on when she was at school. When it came to coming home, Jesslynn was a mess, she would lock herself inside of her room and just cry. After her parents had caught on that their daughter was mentally ill, they sent her to a shrink - the shrink prescribed her anti-depressants. After that, the girl was popping those things like they were sugar candies, getting more and more addicted with every passing day. Honestly, they were basically the only friends that she had ; until she met Joline, that is. Joline was a pure-blooded vampire, a popular girl with a whole lot of potential when it came to highschool social status. However, unfortunately for her, she met Jesslynn and the two actually became friends. They would hang out after school, during lunch and before school. After about a month, Joline was soon getting ridiculed by people and teased just as bad as Jesslynn was. Jesslynn told her friend to leave her alone and save the reputation she still had. Joline decided to stick by her true friend and that’s what she did. However, Joline started to crack under the pressure, she started falling out of school and soon her mom had pulled her out of the school and had moved away. Jesslynn was alone again. The two did keep in touch, calling, instant messaging each other; after a few months, Joline stopped contacting Jesslynn. She just figured that Joline was having fun with her new friends, so she left her alone. However, six weeks later, she had gotten a phone call from Joline’s mom, informing Jesslynn that Joline had taken her own life. That was the day that Jesslynn had transferred schools to Collingwood. At Collingwood, she met Damien and that was probably the best thing that had ever happened to her.
» » Thinking back to the past, Jesslynn started finding herself thinking about the day that her and Damien had met. It was somewhat odd how they had met. It was at an after party that the boys were hosting. Christa and Darren were dating at the time, so Christa invited Jesslynn to come along and watch the show. To be honest, she was rather impressed with the boys; their songs were catchy and got stuck in her head all of the time. She had looked through every boy, knowing Devon was with Vicky, Dougie was fucking Harper Valentine and, obviously, Darren was dating Christa. However, the drummer, she only knew his name and the fact that he was one of those guys who went from girl to girl. Those guys never really interested Jesslynn in the slightest, she knew their games and she knew that they liked to break little girl’s hearts. However, when the after party actually started, Christa had told Damien to come over so she could introduce her little sister to him. The second that Jesslynn got a closer look at Damien, she could feel her heart racing faster and faster - that was when he spoke with that amazing British accent of his. Jesslynn was officially hooked. He had introduced himself and the two started talking to one another and immediately clicked. However, that wasn’t the odd part, the odd part was that, while Jesslynn was talking to Damien, she looked over Christa and she could see that her older sister was talking to Darren, telling him that she ‘knew they were a good match.’ Ever since then, Jesslynn had grown more and more in love with Damien and the way he was. He was so handsome; his eyes were stunning, his hair was perfect, his smile made her melt. How had she kept such a prize, she had no idea.
» » Christa was one of her best friends, if not her best friend in the whole world. Jesslynn would give anything to see her sister smile and hear her laugh. Darren had made her so happy and she was grateful for the two of them meeting. However, right now, Christa was not smiling, she wasn’t laughing. In fact ,she was doing quite the opposite. She was obviously upset and the thing that she was upset over was worth crying for. Still holding her older sister close, she let Christa catch her breath before she pulled away and tried to talk. Jesslynn listened intently, wanting to know what had hurt her older sister so bad; obviously it had to do with Darren. Jesslynn couldn’t think of anything else that would cause Christa to break down like she was. That was when Christa had finally been able to untie her tongue and speak at least a little bit of english. When she had heard Christa’s words, she knew exactly what was up. But why would Darren cheat on Christa and with Katarina Black of all people? Jesslynn’s eyes widened before she embraced Christa once more, knowing that was all she needed right now. She needed someone to tell her that everything was going to be alright; you know, tell her the things that she wanted to hear; ”Oh my god, Christa.” she whispered before letting go of her sister once more, ”Come on, sit down.” she stated before pulling Christa towards the bed and sat down beside her, ”I don’t really know what to say.” she explained, honestly. She didn’t know what to say, she had never been in a situation like that herself; Damien had been faithful, as far she knew. How was she supposed to help Christa wit ha situation that she had no experience with?

* christa gennifer von ness ! come on babe why don't we paint the town and all that jazz i'm gonna rouge my knees and roll my stockings down and all that jazz start the car i know a whoopee spot where the gin is cold but the piano's hot it's just a noisy hall where there's a nightly brawl and all that jazz . * It all kind of started with Jess in a way. Or if you want to go even further back, it all started with their flighty vampire of a father. First he got Christa’s mother pregnant, and then decided to knock up another woman, this time an angel of all things. No one could really understand why he chose to remain with the angel instead of the vampire. But he did, so he moved in with her, leaving Christa’s mother to move back in with her wealthy parents and raise Christa up as well as possible. The years passed, and all the adults put most of their hard feelings behind them. Christa’s mother sent her daughter over to her father’s place every other weekend for a parental custody type visit. At first, the little girl had no idea what to think. This was the man that had ruined her future for a happily ever after family. She grew up hating him and wanting to rip out his guts, something along those lines. Well, she had been sort of right. The two just didn’t click very well. He always treated her like a guest instead of family. She hated that. They were flesh and blood! So basically she grew up despising the man. Good thing the girls in the house were tolerable, if not more. If Christa grew up hating the man that was her father, imagine how she would want to react to the woman he left her mother for. So that first visit, she came ready to be angsty, to be furious, to be the completely spoiled and rude brat she had the right to be. Instead, the woman ruined all her fun. She was so nice it was hard not to like her. She actually treated her like one of her own, which was much more than anyone could say for her father. And then Jessie. She was definitely the best part of those trips. The two had so much fun together. Who knew that the people that Christa should have resented turned out to be the ones that she loved the most? * Anyways, onto the neighbors that Jessie had. Guess who they were? None other than the four themselves. Christa never got to meet Damien, but had become acquainted with the other three, Darren, Devon, and Dougie. Back then they had never been more than just acquaintances. She never even got to know them so well. They had just been Jessie’s neighbors. She was actually probably the closest to Devon, then Dougie next. She visited them less and less often. Later she would learn that that was when the boys started going over to Damien’s much larger house for band practice. Christa lost all contact when they went off to high school. Imagine how surprised she was when she discovered it would be the same school that her mother managed to squeeze her into, Collingwood Secondary. Her freshmen year they were sophomores. But it wasn’t until later that she met Darren. It all went through Harper. The girls were roommates, with Petunia Nelson and Marina Huntington. They became fast friends, the two sins. Lust and Envy. Mix it together, and usually you would get hate. Strangely enough though, the school and its environment had calmed her sin down quite a bit. It wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been. Same went for Harper, though she still fell to it every now and then. But it was when she started dating Dougie that she actually fought against it. Christa was rather proud of her, she controlled it pretty well. Anyways, backtracking a little back to the main subject now. Harper had invited Christa to a rehearsal for the band. They wanted to try some new songs out on the two girls before finalizing it. It was truly amazing. She was hooked on them after only one song. The lyrics actually had meaning, and the melodies were so catchy. They chased around her head for days afterward. Basically at this time, Dougie was the only taken one. All three were still single. Christa wasn’t sure why, but Darren just really stood out to her, even from the beginning. She couldn’t deny the others weren’t good looking; the entire band was pretty gorgeous, but it was his voice and his compassion that grabbed her. She met all four of them, but she and Darren struck a conversation quite quickly. Sadly, they only stayed about five minutes after rehearsal ended, mainly because Harper and Christa had to go catch a couple girl friends for coffee afterwards. She remembered so vividly how she slipped a piece of paper inside a coat pocket somewhat inconspicuously into his jacket pocket before turning away and leaving. * After that, things went as they always did. He called her, a few days afterward, and they arranged a first date. At the end, she was falling for him hard already. Well who could help it? He was so cute, so charming, and just so perfect! She went back to her dorm dreamy eyed and in a weird state of delirium. She’d gone through similar phases before. Earlier freshmen year she’d dated Ashleigh Garnet. He was quite the sweetie, but those feelings were gone. She had fallen hard for him too, so she expected these feelings to die away soon. Her eyes would open up to the fact that they actually weren’t made for each other. But that never happened. She just kept feeling absolutely wonderful next to him. He made her feel good about herself, made her feel needed. Ash was good fun, but he just wasn’t the one for the long run. And up until now, she thought Darren was going to be it for her, to be the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Which actually might entail the rest of eternity, but you get the point. Now she didn’t know. She still wanted him to be, since she obviously still loved him. Maybe she was insane. Now there was an option. It would be a lot easier too. That might mean that she imagined absolutely everything. So maybe this was just an illusion! Then again that might backfire on her. She’d have to forget all the great times that she had; if she truly considered it, she tried to stick to the old saying, “Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.” Or at least it went something like that. This hurt, which she hoped she’d be able to move on over it soon, definitely wasn’t worth all the time that the couple had shared. * Just having her sister close helped so much. Jessie had always been her shoulder to lean on, as well as countless other girl friends. Christa knew she was lucky to have such a tight band of friends. Strangely enough, they were all brought together by the band as well. She and Harper had been roommates, which led Christa to know the band. Then she met Audrey through Darren. Drey was a pretty amazing girl. She could play guitar, cook, and throw fabulous parties. She met Victoria through Devon. Vicky was a deep and thoughtful girl, but also very fun to be around. She added a spark of something different to the group of girls, who were all very wild and party gals. Kat was the one exception. Christa had met her though one fateful visit at the lunchroom. She remembered that day so crystal clearly now. Letting her sister lead her to the bed, she collapsed softly, once again there was no more energy in her body. Nodding at Jessie’s words, Christa understood. The girl had no experience with cheaters. Damien was pretty damn wonderful to her. He was a great friend as well. Christa loved him as a brother. Who knows? Maybe he would be her half brother in the near future. Surprises were thrown at everyone everyday by this stupid thing called fate and destiny. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. If I try to touch her, And I bleed. --- » » If there was anyone that Jess hated seeing upset, it the one that she trusted the most. Christa had held many secrets that the young half-breed had told the girl. For one, the fact that Jessie was, in fact, a half-breed. The poor girl had been judged by it her whole entire life and it still haunted her. The only people who knew about this curse, were the girl she was holding and Jordan Conry. Honestly, the girl was Jessie’s life support when it came to getting things off her chest. Whenever the blonde needed someone to run to, or get something off of her chest, she ran to her older sister. She trusted Christa with everything and knew that she could, just because Christa and her’s relationship was just that meaningful to the two fo them. If the two of them ever stopped talking, Jessie would probably break down within herself and seclude herself from everyone. Christa needed to be in Jessie’s life, she just needed to be.
» » Right now, Jesslynn felt as if she was paying Christa back for all that she had done for her. Even if it took weeks, Jessie would stay with her sister and comfort her until she was positive that her sister was ready to move on. Keeping her sister’s head against her chest, she stroked her dark hair and whispered comforting words. Just the thought of Darren with another woman made Jessie break on the inside, but with Katarina Black? With a werewolf? That alone made her want to rip Darren’s throat out and serve it to Kat for hurting her sister so badly. However, Jessie had only heard one side of the story, she didn’t know what Darren or Kat had to say about their eventful night. Jessie was not one t ojudge, seeing as she had been judged her whole life on somethign that she could not control. However, these two did have control over what they did; even if they were drunk. Pulling away from Christa a bit, she cupped her older sister’s cheeks and wiped the tears away. No words were exchanged between them as Jess placed a soft kiss upon her older sister’s forehead. She wanted to tell Christa that everything was going to be alright ,she wanted to say that it was all in her head. However, she would never lie to her sister. Christa deserved nothing but the truth; and lately, it seemed like she was getting anything but.
» » That thought swam around in her head; What if Damien did this to her? What if he slept with a good friend of hers and she had walked right in on them? Well, the girl probably wouldn’t be able to handle it and would probably not even make it to Christa’s dorm before breaking down and curling up in the middle of the hallway. Damien was everything she wanted, everything she needed to be happy. Just one smile from him and she knew that everything was going to be alright and that he was in love with her. Every smile meant that what the had was real and it wasn’t faked. The thought that was what Christa and Darren had. Darren was always smiling when he was around Christa and Christa was gushing beyond anything when Darren kissed her on the cheek. In a way, the couple gave Jessie hope for herself and Damien. Now, seeing Christa completely heart-broken over Darren after he had cheated on her with her good friend, Jessie didn’t know what to think about herself and Damien anymore. If Darren, who was a completely loyal guy throughout his whole life, cheats on the love of his life, then Damien would have no problem doing the same thing.
» » Her sister’s body was still held closely to her own as she hushed her sister and kept telling her she would get through it with her. Her hands would stroke her head before she felt Christa had calmed down enough for her to talk about it a little bit better, ”Can you talk now?” her voice was full of genuine curiosity as she kept worrying about how Christa was going to handle this. She never knew Christa as the type of person who would attempt suicide, but it was still alright to worry about that, right? I mean, Jessie knew she would probably already be rushed to the hospital if she had just caught was her older sister had caught her boyfriend, her lover, her best friend, her true love with another woman. Finally, Jessie pulled away from Christa completely and just rubbed her back, looking at her and waiting for Christa to catch her breath and try to explain further. Honestly, the next time she saw Darren, she would have to have a little talk with him about courtesy and respect towards women. She was mad, don’t get me wrong ,but she wasn’t someoen to jump to conclusions.
