JUDIAH d o u g i e c l e a v e r ♠ ___________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________ Wishin' I could be in California, I wanna tell ya when I call ya, I could've fallen in love, I wish I'd fallen in love. --- » » He shouldn’t be doing this. He wasn’t supposed to be in love with two people at the same time; it just wasn’t what was supposed to happen. You were supposed to fall in love once, be with that person and then stay happy with that person. Not in Jude Cleaver’s case. He was with a girl he loved more than anything (well, almost anything), and yet he still wasn’t satisfied with her. He wanted someone else, but he had blown it with her. Meri Grace was going to be in the past as far as he knew. According to Christa, Audrey and Harper, she was pretty much heart broken when she found out that Jude had started going out with Alyx. If he had known that Meri had any interest in him, he would have chosen her in a heart-beat. Judiah Cleaver was hopelessly head over heels for the girl that he just couldn’t have. In all honesty, it was starting to make his heart break, knowing that he couldn’t be with her because he was an idiot. Don’t get him wrong, he loved Alyx too, but she just didn’t suit him as well as Meri did. Plus, Jude was starting to realize that Alyx was a better friend then she was a girlfriend.
» » So, here he found himself, sitting on his bed, pondering how he was going to figure this thing out. Well, he would first have to find out if Meri even wanted to speak to him again, let alone want to be friends or his lover. After that, it could go either way; if she didn’t want to speak to him again, she would tell him to leave her alone - and he would. If she wanted to speak to him, he would talk to her and tell her that he was sorry that he had hurt her so badly. While he was doing this, he would have to keep himself in check, seeing as she was the one he really and truly wanted. However, if she came onto him, he would probably give in with no regret. He would give anything for the taste of those lips. It sounded exceedingly cheesy and non-realistic, but it was the truth. He had wanted Meri since the beginning, but he had ‘settled’ for Alyx, just because he had feelings for her as well and she had shown her feelings for him more openly than Meri had. But now, as he sat one his bed, he didn’t think that he had made the right choice; in fact, it was the worst choice he could have ever made.
» » This was when he decided to take action. Getting off his bed, he grabbed a t-shirt and a hoodie, throwing them on - one after the other. He then slipped on his skateboard shoes and grabbed his skateboard; he didn’t think he would be able to get there fast enough on foot. Shutting the door behind him, he pushed off and skate boarded through the halls of Collingwood. It didn’t take him long to reach the girl’s wing and even to Meri’s dorm room. He knew who she shared a dorm with, and at this point, he didn’t wish to speak to Katarina Black. She had caused too much drama in two of his best friends lives; ironically both of those best friends were dating each other until Kat came into the picture. Back on Track, Jude! You came to see Meri! Knocking on the door twice, he waited for her reply. After about two seconds of no on answering the door, he twisted the door knob, finding the door unlocked, and stepped inside. He looked around, ”Meri?” he called out in a soft whisper. If not one was in, he would certainly feel stupid if Kat walked in to find Jude in her dorm, looking for Meri. Not saying it would happen, but Kat could just turn around and tell Alyx that he was in Meri’s room.
» » Before they had dated, Jude would tell Alyx about his feelings for Meri and how much he cared for her. Alyx didn’t really seem to mind, considering she was just one of his best friends at the time. However, after they had started dating, he had made a huge lie, telling her and reassuring her that he didn’t have those feelings for Meri anymore. For a while, she had been suspicious, but that suspicion had worn down and Jude had been in the clear. Although, if Kat did walk in and tell Alyx that he was in her room; just that statement alone would bring up copious amounts of questions. In all honesty, Jude would probably cave in and say that he was there to make amends with Meri in hoped of her wanting to be with him again. He knew how badly that would hurt Alyx, but love hurt people and Jude understood that. Besides, it wasn’t like he was going to pounce on Meri the second he saw her, he would have the courtesy to break up with Alyx after they had simply talked. Jude was not a cheater, he hated the very thought of it; this was why he had lost a whole lot of respect for Katarina. There was also the fact that he had seen Dougie’s left over wreckage after Marina was through with him. The poor boy nearly killed himself with drugs. Jude did not want to place that sort of pain upon anyone, it just wasn’t fair.

THE WORD COUNT IS LONGISH. TRY NINE HUNDRED NINETEEN. I'M TOO LAZY TO SHOW WHAT HE IS WEARING. YAY! MERI AND JUDE FOEVA!.

♥ meri concetta grace ,"you and i have got a lot in common, we share all the same problems." Was heartbreak a common thing? Because it sure seemed like on in her life. Or maybe she just fell too easily, maybe she was too gullible. Maybe she just saw hope where there was none. Maybe she was just doomed to live a lonely life. Did it really matter any more? No, it didn't. She was over it, over him, over love. Nothing good seemed to come out of it, ever. Okay, fine, Meri Grace wasn't over anything - how could she be? She was just about the most hopeless romantic one could find, there was always hope, in her eyes at least. Despite the fact that she believed there was still hope, she was tired - tired of crying herself to sleep, tired of crying whenever she saw a couple of holding hands in the hallway, and the worst was acting as though she felt nothing when she saw Jude and Alyx being an affectionate couple. Right now, all she wanted to do was forget. Forget for the few hours that she was alone, get lost in another pain-free world. And she knew exactly how to get there, it was time to pull out her iPod and doodle book. ♥ Ms. Grace sat on her bed, wedged between two pillows and the wall, a nice, enclosed, safe space. Her iPod earbuds were in her ear, the volume was cranked up way past the recommended for those who didn't want to go deaf, and Raein's " Tigersuit," an Italian screamo band that her brother had decided to put on her iPod, started playing. Screamo wasn't normally the type of music that Meri chose to listen to, she normally got headaches after listening to it for more than a minute, but right now, she didn't really care. It was loud enough to block out the loudest of background noises, it was almost as i there was no one around her for miles and miles. As if there was no one across the hall from her, enjoying their high school experience so much more than she was. As if there was no one in the room next door that stumbled in drunk in the middle of the night when every one else was asleep, but Meri was still wide awake, unable to stop thinking for a long enough period of time to relax and drift off into sleep. Screamo blocked out the world completely, even if it did give her a headache. Heck, the pain in her head could distract her from the emotional pain that seemed to be ever so constant these days. The song ended before going into yet another song by the same band, " This Life is my Cage." ♥ Generally, when Meri listened to music, her eyes were closed, it was just something that she did, it was comforting, as though she was part of the music - completely and utterly immersed. As if nothing could touch her, no one could disturb her, and most importantly, she felt safe. Safer than anyone could make her, safer than having an indestructible wall around her, safer than Jake, for Christ's sake. Her eyelids opened mid-song just because it was something that generally happened, regardless of whether or not she wanted it to. Her eyes wandered over the stucco texture in the wall, before settling on the newest stack of photos that she'd taken a couple of days ago. As she shifted her weight and was getting ready to get comfortable again, a masculine figure caught her attention. Her body tensed for a split second - how did this person get in her dorm? Why was he here? Another second later, the face registered at someone she couldn't be happier to see, yet she wanted him as far away from her as possible at the same time. Meri took the earbuds out of her ear, the extreme loudness of her music only becoming apparent now. "Jude?" She paused for a moment, trying to figure out what he was doing here on her own, but then realized what a normal person would do - ask. "Hey, what are you doing here?" She closed her notebook and set it on her bedside table before setting her iPod down on top of it, then hopped off of the bed before shuffling over to him and giving him a welcome hug. Wait. Friends still hugged when one of them had a significant other . . . right? Or was she doing something wrong? Was she being too friendly? Were things awkward now? Had she completely screwed over what normalcy was left between them? The hug, to say the least, was awkward, on Meri's part, at least. It wasn't forced, per say, 'cause I mean, she wanted to hug him - she would hug him all day if she could - but something was just a bit off about it. Then again, the petite redhead tended to get a little paranoid in these types of situations as of late. By 'these types of situations,' I mean any scene involving the one and only Jude Cleaver. ♥ Jude was her best friend, that was one thing she was sure of, maybe it was the only thing she was sure of nowadays. She'd almost started to believe that maybe there was something there, and then he started dating Alyx instead. I guess that was just the way life worked when you were Meri Grace, it constantly messed up, nothing ever worked out in her favor. It wasn't until after she spoke that she realized where they were and the condition of the area. Her part of the dorm wasn't clean, well, it wasn't exactly messy, Meri tried to keep things somewhat tidy on her half, but there were random piles of clothes on the floor, her books were scattered across her bed and floor, and it just wasn't ready for the eyes of company, even if that company was a best friend that probably wouldn't care. "Sorry about the mess, I wasn't really expecting anyone," she apologized, kicking a pair of jeans out of the immediate area. Heh. Her dorm was a mess and she was a mess, great, it was a no brainer why he'd started dating Alyx instead of her. She was an an ugly Italian half-breed that was broke and lived in a pigsty. Alyx on the other hand? She was gorgeous. Especially when you compared her to someone like plain ol' Meri, the girl who's always the perfect friend, but nothing more. _________________________ tag ♥ jude cleaver. status ♥ complete.
