j e s s i e - l y n n v o n n e s s ♥ ________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________Shards of me, Too sharp to put back together. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. If I try to touch her, And I bleed. --- » » Being in love was something that people didn't expect to happen in highschool. It was something that older and more mature people knew about and were able to feel. People under the age of eighteen were unable to feel an understand the way the love made people act and feel. This was something that drove Jessie-Lynn Von Ness up the fucking wall. She hated the fact that people thought that other people couldn't be in love if they were in highschool. Jesslynn knew she was in love, she was absolutely sure of it. She had never met anyone like Damien and she knew that he was going to be the one who would hold her heart. Running a hand thorugh her new, light blonde hair, Jesslynn's light green eyes scanned the arts wing, trying to find a certain door. This door would lead the young lady into the music room, where she would sit at the piano and wish she could play. Ha! That's what she wants you to think! Jesslynn was more than met the eye. People just thought that Jesslynn's talent was making people laugh and smile. But no, Miss von Ness was actually quite talented when it came to music in any way shape or form. She was talented when it came to vocals, she knew how to play the piano as well as the guitar and bass. Now why do you think she would hide this talent from the world? Well, Jesslynn knew that there were plenty of people who were much more talented than her, take the guys for instance. The lot of them were absolutely amazing when it came to music and it shocked her when she found out that the ywanted her to be a surprise guest at their concert.
» » You see, Jesslynn didn't let just anyone into her little secret circle. Honestly, there were only five people in that circle at the moment; Devon, Dougie, Darren, Damien and mister Jude. Only they knew that she could sing, only they knew that she could play insterments. It was kind of sad that she had kept it from her own sister for all of these years. Christa had absolutely no idea that jesslynn could carry a note and she was glad that she didn't. She knew Christa, she would go off and brag to everyone how wonderful her younger sister was. And honestly, Jesslynn had no idea why she was so scared to show it off to the world.
» » There was another secret that Jessie-Lynn von Ness had been keeping from every single person she knew; except Jordan and Christa. The fact that everyone knew she was a Vampire was only half true. Her blood was tainted by the blood of christ. She was half angel, half vampire; not many people would suspect such a 'creation'. However, it was coming to the time when Jesslynn turned sixteen and it was the third full moon since then and she would sprout her wings. Honestly, it was not as pleasent as it sounded, it was actually quite bloody and painful. The way the wings sprouted out was awful to watch and the pain would be like anything she had ever experianced. However, she wanted Jordan to be there when it happened. She feared something more than the pain, she feared teh fact that her friends may diswon her. She had been disowned all of her life because of she being a half-breed. However, most of all, she feared that Damien may leave her for teh fact that she was a half-blood. It was already hard dating the sin of pride when you weren't exactly someone to be proud of. She knew that Damien could sense her insecurities and the fact that she was scared of losing him everytime he went out ot party with the guys. However, he had managed to stay faithful, so far, and she was trying to make him cut back on his drinking.
» » Once Jesslynn had reached the music room, she shoved the doors open to see a huge stage surrounded by rows and rows of seats. There was a grand piano that was placed upon the stage. Jesslynn walked towards it and let out a soft smile as she did so. She couldn't see anyone, which meant she was probably very safe for anyone seeing her. Once she reached the piano, she sat at the seat, her fingers placing themselves over the ebony and ivory keys. It didn't take long until Jesslynn had started pessing down on the keys and letting the notes flow from her mouth, "Lie to me, Convince me that I've been sick forever. And all of this, Will make sense when I get better. But I know the difference, Between myself and my reflection. I just can't help but to wonder, Which of us do you love?" Her voice was powerful and beautifully toned, making the notes sound full and great. The song was dark and gloomy, but her voice still seemed to brighten the room, she just hoped no one would walk in to see her.

Alyxendra Helena RoslindLove is just a l.i.e. tags;; Jessie outfit;; click word count;; nine hundred {900} chat;; lovely, it's RoslInd. with an I. baby baby baby, when all your love is gone, who will save me from all I'm up against out in this world.
♥ The Arts Wing was something Alyx knew by heart. It was her home base. She knew every room like the back of her hand. She knew every key on every piano like it was her own. She went to the arts wing for everything. When she needed to think, she went to the arts wing. When she needed a place to compose her songs, she rushed to the arts wing. There was one room in particular that she liked. She had no idea why, but the atmosphere in that room was perfect. She was so used to crying in there that it almost felt sad... She had never gone full out depressed in there-no, that was saved up for the bars and the corner behind her bed in her room. It was in that corner that Alyx went all the way into depression. She had a letter opener in there... and the rest was, well, history.
Yes, Alyx Roslind was a "cutter". She took out all of her emotions on her poor wrists that were red and bleeding freely by the time she was done. She would barely shed a tear as she took the letter opener across the pale white of her wrists. After they had stopped bleeding profusely, Alyx would wipe them off and pull a glove over it. The gloves went well with her style and she was always wearing new ones. When she ran out of gloves, she bought six packs of 100 jelly bracelets. Some were black, some were blue, pink purple- whatever color she bought went on her wrist all the way up to her elbow or so. She raised a few suspicions with her arms always covered, but most just waved it off as a style thing. Sure, Alyx wasn't a bright puffball of sunshine, but she wasn't a cutter, was she? Her past was screwed up, but she wasn't depressed. She had great friends and a guy she was in love with. Who could be depressed with that?
Alyx could. The love she had for Darren Hazard wasn't returned. She had been in love with him since her sophomore year. He wasn't feeling the same. They waved it off, agreeing to never talk about it. What's done is done, they said. Dwelling on the past was never a good idea... Then he met Christa Von Ness. Christa, a preppy girl with deep black hair, was the owner of his heart from then on and soon after, Alyx's best friend. Christa introduced her to her "mind twin" Katarina Black. The three became best friends, despite the differences in personality and social class. She met Kayleen the next year and Kayleen was her mind twin. Kaylee was more like Alyx than the other two girls. They bonded quickly and were liked sisters. Alyx, the girl who barely had a mother, now had a full family-five brothers and four sisters. Just by meeting Darren, she gained a family. Dev, Daim, Dougie and their girls Christa, Vicky, Harper... and Jessie.
Of all the girls that were dating the guys, Alyx was closest with Jessie. There was something about her that Alyx connected with. She was dating Damien Wolfe, the drummer of the band. Damien and Alyx shared an addiction to alcohol. Jessie was used to taking care of Damien, so taking care of Alyx was just another step. Alyx became protective of her new little sister, Jessie. She was the new kid for a few months to Alyx, seeing as Damien went through girls like water. When she was convinced that Jess and Damien were for real, she accepted the cute little redhead into her heart. They became friends and still remained, even after all this time.
Like anyone, Alyx had her secrets. She kept them from most people, Darren especially. Only Dougie, Harper and Darren knew about her wrists. That was all an accident. Alyx was drunk and didn't know what she was doing. She let Harper take off her gloves and there they were. Little red marks on her wrist. Dougie was concerned, as was Harper, and told Darren. Darren didn't know what to do. There was nothing he really could do. A more mild secret she kept from everyone was her talents. Alyx was good at playing guitar and piano and the group knew it. What they didn't know was that she could sing. She sang quietly to every one of the band's songs when they practiced and at their gigs. It was a quiet murmer, not a voice that no one paid attention to.
Walking slower and coming to her favorite room, Alyx heard a voice. It was a soft voice and it was a beautiful voice. She stopped dead. It couldn't be. No. You can't judge a singing voice by a person's speaking voice... Walking into the room, her was proven wrong. She thought it was a sophomore angel girl, but it wasn't it was...
"Jesslynn Von Ness... is that you singing?" She asked. She shook her head and answered herself. "Of course it was... and that was, oh my god, that was amazing." Alyx looked at her. She blinked. Jessie never showed any sign of being musical, other than her great taste in music. It was surprising, but she wasn't... shocked. People had hidden talents, so what? She had one herself. Looking at her again, Alyx hugged her. "Jessie! How come you didn't tell me!"

j e s s i e - l y n n v o n n e s s ♥ ________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________Shards of me, Too sharp to put back together. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. If I try to touch her, And I bleed. --- » » Jesslynn hated people who showed off their shred of talent and blew it out of preportion. One of her ex-freinds was like that; she had a decent voice, sure, but she wasn't set out to go big time. Everytime she saw Jesslynn, she would brag about her 'beautiful singing voice' and how many octaves she had. Obviously, Jesslynn put up with it, knowing that she had many more octaves than she did. (The friendship ended after her so called 'friend' was trying to go after the boy she was 'in love' with at the time.) The range of her voice was quite vast, try three and a half to four octaves. She would secretly trtain herself to become better and better until she was ready to unleash her talent upon the world. You see, the reason why she didn't tell anyone, was because she knew that people were better than her and she didn't like competition. So, her analogy was that if no one knew, then there was no one to compete with. However, she was glad that she had told the guys; they never competed with her, they supported her. Out of all of them, Damien supported her the most and - being the sin of pride that he was - was very proud of the fact that his girlfriend had the voice of, well, an angel. She loved it when he told her that she sang beautifully or that her voice gave him chills. But she was still scared about losing him when he found out that her blood was very much tainted. Though she told everyone she was a vampire, no one asked her is she was pure or not, thus not one found out.
» » She was happy that Christa didn't say anything, concidering the two bickered quite alot over the years. You know, that was what sisters did, they fought and then became best friends the next day. Jesslynn and Christa were no different, even though they were only half-sisters. But honestly, she didn't know where she would be without Christa by her side, supporting her and making her do things she never throught she would be able to do. When she found out that she was dating Darren Hazard, she was thrilled, seeing as Devon was one of her neighbours and she would see Darren a whole buttload, as well as the Cleaver brothers and mister Wolfe. Honestly, Jesslynn knew all of the guys before any of the girls did. So, she found it funny when Alyx started calling her 'new girl' when she started hanging with the guys in public. However, she just shrugged it off and went along with it, seeing as all of the other girls concidered her 'new', except for Christa. Jesslynn was like that, she wasn't exactly an outspoken girl when she first meets people...give her a couple of seconds and then she'll really say what's on her mind. However, Jesslynn is still a sweet girl, she loves socialising and loves meeting new people. Although, she did have her major insecurities and was a bit messed up in the head. First off, she has never thought she was beautiful and she always thinks that Damien deserves someone better than her. Next, after Joline died, her shrink proscribed her with anti-depressents. Let's just say Jesslynn can't function without them. But, you see, Jesslynn keeps her addiction under wraps and not one soul has found out about it. Everyone expects her to be the sweet, bubbly girl who is always smiling, when she is really just as bad as Alyx. » » Jesslynn had another really really close 'brother' of a friend. Not many people knew about him because he was connected to Trevor Cray. His name was Jordan Conry and he was an angel. He was one of the biggest influences in Jesslynn's life, seeing as he treated her like she was his little sister. Only him and Christa knew about her true blood line and the fact that in two days time, she would be a bloody mess. She would be screaming at the top of her lungs, trying to make the pain stop as her wings sprouted from her spine and out of her skin. This is was a curse that God had put upon her just because she was half-breed. Let's just say, child birth was probably going to be a cake-walk compared to the pain that these wings were going to give her. Well, think about it, her wings would probably be around nine or ten feet in length and they were forcing themselves out of her back. That would hurt, no? This was why she wanted Jordan there with her, so he could hold her down so she didn't try to ruin her new wings. He would also have to help her clean them, seeing as they would probably just dripping with blood. That doesn't sound very angelic now, does it? She knew that Jordan and her would be friends for a very long time and that comforted her. The way they met was odd too. All of the guys had told her about what Trevor had done to Dougie and she found it somewhat misunderstood; this is why she is friends with Trevor but 'shhhh'. However, she hated marina, always had and always would, so, she knocked on her dorm door and the ysaid she was with Trevor. So, she found Trevor's dorm and who answered teh door? Jordan Conry. He told her that Trevor nor Marina were there but she could sit and wait until the two got back. Jesslynn accepted the offer and the two clicked; they have been close ever since. » » Jessie kept her fingers on the keys as she kept singing the slow and gloomy song that she loved so much. She didn't write it, oh no, this was written by her idol; Amy lee - the lead singer of the band Evanescence. People said that she sounded like her, but Jessie didn't want to sound like someone else, she wanted to sound like Jessie. As she kept singing and playing the piano, she closed her eyes and let the music flow through her and come out of her finger tips and her lips. If she had keopt her eyes open, she might have been able to see Alyx walk into teh room and she would have been able t ostop and try to make it seem like someone else was in teh room. But no, it was too late. Alyx had already heard her and when Jessie heard Alyx's voice, she nearly jumped nine feet in the air. Her eyes stayed on the other blonde as she bit her lip and felt Alyx wrap her arms around her, "You never asked..." she explained, trying to shake it off, "And I am not amazing." she added and shrugged, "You're probably better than I am." she explained and smiled.

Alyxendra Helena RoslindLove is just a l.i.e. tags;; Jessie outfit;; click word count;; one thousand, one hundred fourty one. {1141} status;; complete|incomplete chat;; woah... NOT what i expected to post. sorry it kinda blows. broadway's dark tonight a little bit weaker than you used to be broadway's dark tonight see the young man sittin' in the old man's bar waitin' for his turn to die
♥ There were only a few people who knew Alyx could sing the way she could. Of course, the twins and the guys knew she could sing, and Devon would tease her about being the blonde Amy Lee. Of course, he had never heard her belt. No one had. The guys knew Alyx could sing, and they knew she could play guitar. Pretty much everyone knew about Alyx's piano skills. She wasn't a Mozart, or even a Lilia Harvord (for, as much as Lili and Alyx hated each other, she had to admit, the girl had skill) for that matter. Alyx was never one to show off what she had unless she was with her circle. And even then, only Jude got to hear the Alyx inside, minus the belting. For the same reason as Jessie, Alyx didn't want the world to know. She wasn't the best and she wasn't even near the best. She was somewhere near the middle, between the people who were tonedeaf and the people who were good. She never saw herself as someone who would perform. She could even write songs and have other people perform them for her, as long as Alyx wasn't the one with the most on the line.
♥ No one expected much out of Alyx. Alyx didn't expect much out of Alyx. She was one of those girls who was destined to fail in her mind. She was depressed and confused and in love twice over. It was the confused part that got to her. She thought she had her mind made up for seventeen years of her life. For a while, she told herself she would be lucky to make it until her eighteenth birthday. Now that she was there, it was twenty. If she made it there, she could do anything. Between her drinking and her cutting, she didn't know how long she would last. She didn't even know if she would last long enough to stay away from drugs. they were a tempting offer. Seeing the way Dougie, Devon and Darren were on them was interesting. They seemed so... carefree. Then again, Alyx and Damien were the same way when they were drunk. They shared the same addiction- alcohol. He seemed a little more die-hard than she was, but Alyx was bad enough. Alyx could be both a mean drunk and a sad drunk, but it was only when she was with her friends that she was loopy. She remembered bits and pieces of things, but never the full night. Not after drink number eight. After that she was gone. Damien was the same way, or so she thought. So Jessie jad told her or whatever. She knew, she just didn't remember how she knew.
♥ Damien and Jessie were in love. Anyone with two eyes could see that. They were so... amazing together. Damien needed someone like Jessie to keep him tied to the ground, or else he would probably be gone. And the way those two looked at each other! It was like the world would stop just because the other was there. And if the world stopped, neither would care as long as they had each other. Alyx wanted it to be that way with someone. She wanted someone to love her the way Damien loved Jessie. She wanted to love someone the way Jessie loved Damien.
♥ Alyx had Jude. She loved Jude. Alyx loved Jude with all of her heart, but never as much as Jessie loved Damien. When she was with Jude Cleaver, nothing else mattered. All that mattered was them. He cared about her more than anyone else had in her life. He was always trying to make her feel better. When she smiled, he smiled. When she was happy, he was happy. When he was kissing her... it was beyond words. Alyx was in her own world when Jude was with her. He made her feel whole, and he kept her distant from Darren- not literally, but her heart wasn't with Darren when she was with Jude. She forgot all about him. Every step with Jude was a step toward letting Darren go- romantically at least. She wanted to be able to do that and let Christa be with him. She wanted to be able to look at the two and think 'wow. I'm happy those two are together' rather than 'wow. i wish that was me.' She wanted to be able to look at Jude and think 'this is always going to be my everything.' She wanted, like every normal little girl did, a happy ending.
♥ But people never really got what they wanted, did they? Alyx sure as hell didn't. No matter how much she wanted to deny it, Alyx wanted a mother. She never got one. She wanted to be able to look at her mother and say 'i love you' and hear 'i love you too, alyx'. She hadn't heard those words from her mother since god knows when. She hadn't been able to look at her mother in years. She even went as far as wanting to have an aunt that loved her. Jane hated Kristelle and everything that went with her. And Alyx held the same last name, the same blue eyes and the same blonde hair. So, instead of taking her hatred out on Kristelle herself, she too it out on Alyx. Alyx had never done anything to deserve it, so she wanted to be loved unconditionally. That, like seeing pigs fly, would never happen.
♥ So Alyx settled for the family she had a school- Jessie, Christa, Vicky(on her good days), Harper (most days), Kat and Kayleen, Damien, Darren, Dougie, Devon and Jude. They loved her. And that, for now was enough for her. She had to take what she could get, right? She wasn't a begger, nor a chooser, so she had to deal with what she had. Good thing what she had was great...
♥ Snapping violently back to reality, Alyx smiled again. She laighed a little at Jessie's remark and raised an eyebrow. "What happened to 'yeah, we'll tell each other everything, huh?" She asked, laughing a bit. As Jessie disagrred with Alyx's comment, Alyx raised an eyebrow. "What did I say about arguing with people that are older?" She said, raising a finger at her. She snorted at the next comment. "Oh yeah. The day I sound better than you is the day that I sell my soul for real vocal chords." She said. Low self esteem back to haunt Alyx. It was a curse, and she dealt with it. She motioned for Jessie to move over on the piano bench and sat down on the edge. "So, my dear, when were you planning on telling me you had pipes like that?" She asked, raising an eyebrow again.

j e s s i e - l y n n v o n n e s s ♥ ________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________Shards of me, Too sharp to put back together. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. If I try to touch her, And I bleed. --- » » Joline Hartland. She was Jesslynn's best friend. She was gorgeous, smart, talented and kindhearted. Jesslynn knew she could never find a friend quite like her and she thought that they would be 'best friends for life'. But no. Jesslynn knew about Joline's fragile state, how her frame of mind had been contaminated by lies. People told her she was hideous, stupid, worthless and a total bitch. Joline didn't deserve anything she got from the people of their highschool. Jesslynn got it just as bad as Joline got it, but Jesslynn had to be strong, she was stubborn. Joline wasn't. Jesslynn remember the day that Joline moved away and left Jesslynn all by herself. It wasn't long before Jesslynn got a call from her best friend's mother that Joline had taken her own life. Jesslynn collapsed within herself, she drew herself within her soul and didn't talk to anyone. The memories always started to flow back in, and as they did, she could feel the lump in her throat start to build up. But she didn't want to cry, she hated it when she cried. Whenever the lump grew, she wanted to cry, she really did, but she was stubborn and she was strong.
» » Over the years, Jessie had been through more than an average person would go through in a life time. She had lost a friend, she had been violated and disowned and she had lied about herself to most of the people she loved. She had grown up with a brother who had a disability and got all of the attention that normal child should get. Jessie was left with no love, no compassion, no attention from the people who were supposed to be supporting her and guiding her through life. Instead she had to fend for herself and grow all by herself. Maybe that was why she was so innocent, so ignorant compared to most of the people she knew. Of course, she was intelligent, but when it came to more mature matters, she would usually hide away, not commenting. This was because she didn’t know what to say, or how to say it. People knew she was intellectually talented, but when it came to social issues, she was a rather shy person and it took a whole lot for her to come out of her shell. Usually, if on the rare occasion that she did go out to a party with Damien, she would usually glue herself to him. There were two reasons for this; for one, she didn’t want him to over do it and for two, she was shy and knew that Damien was her safe zone. » » Partying was one thing that never appealed to Jessie, just for the obvious reason that there was sex involved. She didn’t want anything to do with sex, at least not with anyone but Damien. He was the one she wanted to lose it to, even though he wasn’t going to lose it to her. However, every time they got close to it, the younger one of the two would pull away and tell him that she wasn’t ready. Now, for a young teenage boy, who has experienced sex, this was probably chinese water torture for the poor boy. Jess didn’t even know why Damien was attracted to her in any sort of way. That was another fault of Jessie Lynn Von Ness, the insecurities were endless. She always had something wrong with her and was always wrong or not good enough. Damien was such a proud guy and he had chosen such a thing that someone would never be proud of. The fact that Damien had even considered her still blew her mind; he oculd have gotten Harper Valentine if he tried, but no, he settled for simple, plain Jessie. No one was going to remember her, why should they? She never did anything memorable anyways. Honestly, every time that she kissed Damien, every time they spent time together, she cherished every moment, just because she was scared that he was just going to up and leave her one day. It was silly, sure, but in Jessie’s eyes, it was absolutely reasonable. Think about it, your boyfriend is this well-known, very much wanted man and you are just in the lime light, the lucky girl who had claimed him. It was almost like you needed to live up to his reputation.
» » She had a plan. The plan was for no one to hear her, for no one to know how she got buy when she had those tough times. Now, seeing as Alyx now knew just how talented the younger girl was, she was starting to worry about how the others would find out before the concert. It was a reasonable fear, seeing as most people wouldn’t suspect such a young and shy to be such a performer with such a strong voice. Hearing Alyx’s words, she stopped playing and looked over at the other blonde that was sitting beside her, ”I don’t think we ever promised each other that...” she teased before giggling softly. Jessie respected Alyx, she really did. She respected hwo she had held up through her tough past, like Jessie herself, ”Argue until your blue in the face?” she asked. Her deep blue eyes made a slight roll as Alyx insulted her voice. People like that pissed her off; Jessie didn’t exactly insult herself and she didn’t doubt her ability but she did have insecurities about it, ”Oh hush, you know you have a beautiful voice.” she explained and smiled, patting Alyx on the head, like a dog. Jessie started poking at the keys again, making a random, poppy tune as herself and Alyx talked. A shrug of the shoulders was the next response to Alyx’s next question, ”Never. To be honest.” she explained and ran a hand through her blonde hair. The answer was brutal, but it was the brutal truth. Just take her word for it, she owuld have kept it from the boys, if Damien hadn’t walked in on her singing.
